We are excited to present Dr. Michael Maccoby as the keynote speaker for our 2011 Relationship Awareness Conference. He is an award-winning and bestselling author, psychoanalyst, and globally recognized expert on leadership. He has written or co-authored 13 books including one with Erich Fromm, whose work was a major influence on Elias H. Porter and his development of Relationship Awareness Theory. Dr. Maccoby has consulted with leaders in over 30 countries and directed innovative projects to transform the world of work.

Developing the Leaders We Need

Dr. Maccoby's keynote address will explore content from two of his books: Narcissistic Leaders, Who Succeeds and Who Fails and The Leaders We Need and What Makes Us Follow, both published by Harvard Business School Press and part of the Leadership for the Common Good series. He will also show how the SDI concepts support his theories of leadership. The chronicles of his consulting and coaching with leaders of some of the world's biggest organizations are not to be missed.

Maccoby_KDr. Maccoby has taught at Harvard, Oxford, the University of Chicago, Sciences Po, the UC Santa Cruz, and the Washington School of Psychiatry. His BA and Ph.D. are from Harvard, and he is a graduate of the Mexican Psychoanalytic Institute.
